Green Peas Masala/ Žaliųjų žirnelių masala

Pagal/ Source Sashirecipes

Porcijos:2

Gaminimo laikas: apie 20 min.

Produktai:

1 stiklinė žalųjų žirnelių
1 cinamono lazdelė
2 gvazdikėliai
1 vidutinio dydzio svogūnas
1 a.š. imbiero pastos
1 v.š. smulkinto česnako
2 zalieji čili pipirai (smulkinti)
0,5 stiklines pomidorų pastos
1 a.š. garam masala prieskonių
0,5 a.š. raudonųjų čili miltelių
2 a.š. cukraus
0,5 stiklinės vandens
Aliejaus kepimui
Druskos pagal skonį
3 v.š. kalendros lapų

Gaminimo procesas:

Today we were arguing who will be cooking and what. Finally, I didn't want to risk,so I took a recipe I had found some time ago and fixed a quick dinner.
I used original recipe just partially, but everything turned out well just the way we liked it.

Servings: 2

Cooking time: about 20 minutes.

Products:

1 cup green peas
1 cinnamon stick
2 cloves
1 medium-sized onion
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
2 green chili peppers (chopped)
0,5 cup tomato paste
1 teaspoon garam masala spice
0,5 teaspoon red chili powder
2 teaspoon sugar
1 cup of water
Oil for frying
Salt to taste
3 tablespoon coriander leaves

Method:

Heat the oil in a pan, add cinnamon stick, cloves and after few seconds add chopped onion. Saute until onion becomes golden brown in color, add garlic, ginger and fry for a few more minutes. Add tomato paste and fry until oil starts to separate. Then add garam masala, red chili powder, sugar, salt and fry, stirring constantly for one minute.
Add peas, coriander leaves and water and simmer for about 5 minutes. ( I used frozen peas so I cooked them for 10 minutes).
