Teriyaki Meatballs/ Mėsos kukuliai teriyaki padaze

Pagal/ Source MelsKitchen

Porcijos: 3-4

Gaminimo laikas: apie 45 min.

Mėsos kukuliams:

500 gr. maltos jautienos
1 kiaušinis
0,5 stiklinės džiuvėsėlių
1 a.š. druskos
0,4 a.š. maltų juodųjų pipirų
1 a.š. Vusterio padažo
0,4 a.š. česnakinės druskos
2 v.š. pieno

Padažui:

0,5 stiklinės sojų padažo
1,5 stiklinės vandens
1 a.š. imbiero pastos
0,5 a.š. česnakinės druskos
0,3 stiklinės rudojo cukraus
2 v.š. medaus

3 v.š. krakmolo
0,5 stiklinės šalto vandens

Gaminimo procesas:

There are dishes that some people love and others just can't stand. Same was with these meatballs in teriyaki sauce. For me they were extremely tasty, I just loved them and since my husband was unable to eat even one I finished them all myself in two days. My husband didnt like it cause sauce was too sweet and didnt taste good with meat. Good that I made just half of the suggested norm.

Servings: 3-4

Cooking time: about 45 mins.

Meatballs:

500 gr. ground beef
1 egg
0.5 cups bread crumbs
1 tsp salt
0.4 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
0.4 tsp garlic salt
2 tbsp milk

Sauce:

0.5 cup soy sauce
1.5 cups water
1 tsp ginger paste
0.5 tsp garlic salt
0.3 cups brown sugar
2 tbsp honey

3 tbsp cornstarch
0.5 cups cold water

Method:

Mixed together products for the sauce. In a separate bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in 0.5 cups of water.

Mix all ingredients for meatballs except ground meat, finally add the meat and mix everything well.

Heat a few tablespoons of oil in a large skillet, little balls from the minced meat mixture and fry them turning until they are brown from all sides.

When the meat balls will be done pour in the sauce and carefully turn over meatballs to cover them with sauce from all sides. Wait until the sauce starts boiling, then pour in cornstarch dissolved in water, stirring it gently. Simmer everything on medium heat turning the meatballs occasionally until the sauce is thick, that takes about 10-15 minutes. If the sauce is too thick add a little bit of water.
