500 gr. džiovintų slyvų
1,5 l. raudonojo vyno
100 gr. cukraus
1 cinamono lazdelė
2 gvazdikėliai
1 žvaigždinis anyžius
1 vanilės ankštis, laužyta
2 dideli citrinos žievės gabaliukai
Gaminimo procesas:
Sudėti visus produktus į puodą ir užvirti. Sumažinti ugnį ir virti apie 35-45 minutes (turi pasidaryti sirupo konsistencija).
Atvėsinti ir palikti šaldytuve per naktį prieš patiekiant.

1 star anise
1 vanilla pod, broken
2 large pieces of lemon peel
Method:
Put all ingredients in a pan and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 35-45 minutes (until it becomes syrup consistency).
Cool and leave in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
Pagaliau turiu kelias laisvas minutes prisėsti su kava ir kažką parašyti. Kovo pradžia buvo tokia užimta ir varginanti, kad kai likdavo laiko vakare nebelikdavo jėgų. Kuo šiandiena yra kitokia nei vakar? Nežinau.. bet atsirado begalinis noras ir vėl dalintis:)

Originalus šių slyvų receptas yra prancūzų kalba. Kai pamačiau pirmą kartą net pasigailėjau, kad nemoku prancūziškai. Pagalvojau, kaip aš dabar pagaminsiu tas slyvas.. o google vertimas iš prancūzų į lietuvių buvo tikrai švelniai tariant painus. Ačiū mano daugiakalbei draugei kuri patarė, kad geriausia versti prancūzų į anglų ir šios gudrybės dėka receptas buvo išverstas aiškiai, o slyvos pasakiškai skanios.
Tai puikus ir saldus desertas, kurio tikrai reikia visai mažai. Patiekiau šias slyvas su vaniliniais ledais, nors kas liko sekančią dieną pabaigiau be nieko.

Finally, I have a few free minutes to sit down with a coffee and to write something. The beginning of March was busy and tiring even when I had some time on evenings I was just too tired to do anything. How today is different than yesterday? I don't know .. but I already feel like sharing something again :)
Well as soon as I wrote this I got a lot of work again.
The original recipe for the prunes is in French. When I saw it first I regretted that I don't know French. I wanted to try these prunes so much.. but google translation from French to Lithuanian was really confusing. Thanks to my friend who advised that the best way is to translate French into English and that trick worked really well so I was able to enjoy these delicious prunes.
This is a wonderful and sweet dessert, that can be enjoyed in little portions. I serve these plums with vanilla ice cream, and the next day what was left I finished alone.

Very cool! My aunt makes something similar but it is alcohol laden! Made some a while ago, and even took photos, but no time to post it yet! Hope you get your energy back...it's probably the weather! CC
