I didn't even realise that I missed radishes, I probably didn't have them for couple of years. Before I was so used to just going outside and getting few in our own garden whenever I felt like.

450-350 g. cabbage, shredded
200 gr. radish, finely chopped
0.25 cup lime juice
Salt and pepper to taste
0.3 cup (55 g.) Cotija cheese (I used a Paneer)
Method:
Ridikėlių jau buvau labai pasiilgusi ir nevalgiusi tikriausiai kelis metus.? O kažkada atrodydavo taip įprasta vasarą tiesiogt iš daržo pasirauti šviežių ridikėlių kada tik užsinorėjus.
Kai daržovių parduotuvėje atsitiktinai pamačiau ridikėlius supratau kaip aš jų pasiilgau, todėl nusipirkau iškart beveik kilogramą ir valgiau.. Nors skonis šiek tiek nuvylė, tiksliau man to skonio vietiniuose ridikėliuose pritrūko, bet vis geriau nei nieko.

Gaminimo procesas:
Vidutinio dydžio dubenyje sumaišyti kopūstą, ridikėlius (aš dar įdėjau apie 0,5 smulkiai pjaustyto agurko) ir žaliosios citrinos sultis. Pabarstyti druska ir pipirais, gerai išmaišyti. Palikti 10 minučių. Prieš patiekiant apibarstyti Cotija sūriu.

When I saw radishes in a vegetable market I realised that I missed it and I got almost whole kilogram at once. Although the taste was a bit disappointing, actually it didn't have strong enough taste but still it was pretty good.

Method:
In a medium bowl mix cabbage, radishes (I also added 0.5 chopped cucumber) and lime juice. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and mix well. Leave for 10 minutes. Before serving sprinkle with Cotija cheese.

AtsakytiPanaikintiI'm not sure I would ever "miss" radishes but I have seen so many interesting uses for them lately that I should probably think twice, lol...This cabbage and radish salad sounds like something I should consider:)

Usually when a person see a dish like this hardly speaks: "My mouth was full of water" and wants the plate, as usual it feels when the menu is facing sweets and meats, but I confess, without any hypocrisy, my mouth was filled with water by the eyes in the salad.
