Žemės Riešutų Sviesto Tortas/ Peanut Butter Cake

Pagal/ Source DaringGourmet

Aš dar pabaiginėdama nesibaigiančią uogienę be kremo plonu sluoksniu ant pagrindo užtepiau aviečių uogienės.
Na ką gi. Sveikinu save gimtadienio proga.

Produktai:

Pyragui:
1,5 stiklinės miltų
2 a.š. kepimo miltelių
0,5 a.š. kepimo sodos
0,5 a.š. druskos
0,3 stiklinės aliejaus
0,3 stiklinės žemės riešutų sviesto
1 stiklinė rudojo cukraus
2 dideli kiaušiniai
1 stiklinė rūgpienio
1 a.š. vanilės ekstrakto

Kremui:
1 stiklinė žemės riešutų sviesto
0,5 stiklinės sviesto, kambario temperatūros
3 stiklinės cukraus pudros
0,3-0,5 stiklinės grietinėlės kambario temperatūros

Gaminimo procesas:

After reading the recipe I didn't have high hopes for this cake. I thought that with peanut butter everything is good, but the cake sounded just too simple. It turns out I was wrong. This cake, especially the frosting tasted wonderful. I am still finishing jam so before spreading frosting I have spread some raspberry jam.
And happy birthday to me.

Products:

For the Cake:
1.5 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
0.5 tsp baking soda
0.5 tsp salt
0.3 cup oil
0.3 cup peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Frosting:
1 cup peanut butter
0.5 cup butter, room temperature
3 cups powdered sugar
0.3-0.5 cup heavy cream, room temperature

The cooking process:

Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease 22 cm round baking form.

In a medium bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a large bowl add peanut butter, brown sugar and oil. Beat with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract, beat everything until incorporated.

Alternating add gradually the flour mixture and buttermilk beating until incorporated. If there are some lumps it's ok, if you overbeat the cake will be dry and heavy.

Pour the batter into the prepared form. Bake about 30 minutes or until wooden skewer inserted comes out with few moist crumbs.
Leave for 5 minutes in the form, then finish cooling on a wire rack.

For the frosting add together peanut butter and butter. Beat with electric mixer until smooth and creamy creamy. One cup at the time add the powdered sugar beating continuously. Gradually while beating add the cream until you get the desired spreadable consistency.

Cut cooled cake cut in half horizontally. Spread frosting on one half then sandwich with the other half of the cake, spread the remaining frosting on top and on the sides.
