Cinamoninis Pyragas su Avižiniais Dribsniais/ Cinnamon Oatmeal Bread

Pagal/ Source BakingBites

Kur dingo dar vienas mėnesis? Dar vienas metų laikais? Ir kai pagalvoju keli mėnesiai ir metai bus dingę. Niekaip nerandu laiko gaminti!

Produktai:

2 stiklinės miltų
1,5 stiklinės avižinių dribsnių
1,5 a.š. kepimo miltelių
0,75 a.š. druskos
1 a.š. cinamono
1 stiklinė cukraus
0,25 stiklinės rudojo cukraus
2 dideli kiaušiniai
1 stiklinė pieno
2 a.š. vanilės ekstrakto
0,3 stiklinės sviesto, tirpinto ir atvėsinto

Viršui:
2 v.š. cukraus
0,5 a.š. cinamono

Gaminimo procesas:

Where did another monthgo? Another season? And when I think about it.. only a few months and years will be gone too. I just was not able to find time for cooking! In theory, it should have had more time, but it was the opposite.
I remember  when first I came to Australia I just had a stove, but did not have a decent oven. This time after I returned it's the opposite - stove does not work, but I have the working oven.

A simple oatmeal and cinnamon bread I am sharing today is actually really good. Although I usually was not a fan of oatmeal bread, this one is different . Maybe because of the cinnamon, maybe because it is soft and not too sweet, maybe because I wasn't baking anything for a long time.

Products:

2 cups flour
1,5 cups oats
1,5 tsp baking powder
0,75 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup sugar
0,25 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
0,3 cup butter, melted and cooled

For the Topping:
2 tbsp sugar
0,5 tsp cinnamon

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease 22x12cm baking form.

In a large bowl mix flour, oats, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and sugar. In a medium bowl, mix brown sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla extract. Pour into a dry ingredients and mix well.

Pour the melted butter and mix well until you get a smooth dough. Transfer the dough into the form.
In a small bowl, mix all the products for the topping. Evenly sprinkle the mixture on top, swirl with a knife. Bake for about 50-55 minutes or until a wooden skewers inserted comes out clean.

Cool the cake in the form for 15 minutes, then remove and finish cooling on a wire rack.
