Shrimp Curry/ Krevečių troškinys

Pirmadienis sunki diena, visa savaitė prieš akis, tiek daug dienų iki savaitgalio.. Todėl labai smagu pirmadienį gaminti kažką nesudėtingo, bet skanaus.
Nors krevečių troškinys, kurį gaminau gavosi gana aštrus, bet su ryžiais buvo skanu.



Porcijos: 3-4

Gaminimo laikas: 30 min.

Produktai:

500 gr. krevečių
1 svogūnas (smulkiai pjaustytas)
1 a.š. imbiero pastos
1 a.š. smulkinto česnako
2 žalieji čili pipirai (smulkinti)
200 gr. pomidorų pastos
0,5 a.š. ciberžolės miltelių
1 a.š. maltos kalendros
1 a.š. garam masala prieskonių
0,5 a.š. raudonųjų čili miltelių
0,5 citrinos sultys
0,5 žaliosios paprikos
Druskos pagal skonį
Aliejaus kepimui

Gaminimo procesas:


Puode įkaitinti aliejų, sudėti smulkintą svogūną ir pakepinti apie 5 minutes. Sudėti česnaką, imbierą, žaliuosius čili ir viską pakepinti dar kelias minutes.

Sudėti pomidorų pastą, druską ir visus prieskonius (kalendrą, ciberžolę, raudonuosius čili, garam masalą), išmaišyti ir pakepinti kol masė patirštės ir pradės atsiskirti aliejus (maždaug 5 -7 minutes).

Sudėti krevetes, gerai viską išmaišyti ir pavirti apie 5 min., tada sudėti smulkintą žaliąją papriką ir uždengus pavirti dar 5 minutes. Prieš patiekiant įmaišyti citrinos sultis.


Monday is the most difficult day of the week, whole week is ahead, so many days till weekend .. That's why I like on Mondays to cook something what doesn't require much effort, simple but tasty.
Although shrimp curry turned out quite spicy, it tasted good and was just perfect with rice.

Servings: 3-4

Cooking time: 30 minutes.

Products:

500 gr. shrimps
1 onion (finely sliced)
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp crushed garlic
2 green chilies (chopped)
200 gr. tomato paste
0.5 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp garam masala spice
0.5 tsp red chili powder
0.5 lemon juice
0.5 capsicum
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method:

Heat the oil in a pan, add chopped onion and saute for about 5 minutes. Add the garlic, ginger, green chillies and fry everything for a few more of minutes.

Add the tomato paste, salt and all spices (coriander, turmeric, red chili, garam masala), mix well and cook everything until the oil starts to separate and mixture thickens (about 5 -7 minutes).

Add the shrimps, mix everything well, and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes. Then add chopped capsicum and cook for another 5 minutes. Before serving mix in the lemon juice.
