Coconut Shrimp Curry/ Kokosinis Krevečių Karis

Jei nebūtų krevetėms beveik 50% nuolaidos tikriausiai ir nepirktume, nors ir skanu vis dėl to nepigu. Gerai, kad mes ne gurmanai ir be krevečių kitokiomis jūros gėrybėmis nesižavime.
Prieš gamindama šį karį šiek tiek abejojau, nes įtartinai atrodė sudėtyje pupelės, bet vis dėl to įdėjau ir jas. Buvo tikrai skanu ir viskas kartu puikiai derėjo.



Gaminimo laikas: 30 min.

Porcijos: 3-4

Produktai:

2 smulkintos česnako skiltelės
1 a.š. imbiero pastos
1 a.š. kario priekonių
1 raudonoji paprika (pjaustyta juostelėmis)
1 skardinė nusunktų baltų pupelių
2 pomidorai (smulkiai pjaustyti)
1 stiklinė kokosų pieno
1 stiklinė sultinio
3 v.š. smulkintų kalendros lapų
0,5 a.š. zuvies padazo
500 gr. krevečių
5 v.š. natūralaus jogurto
Druskos ir pipirų pagal skonį
Aliejaus kepimui

Gaminimo procesas:

Puode įkaitinti aliejų. Sudėti česnaką, imbierą ir kario prieskonius, pakepinti maišant apie 4 minutes.

Sudėti pjaustytą papriką, pupeles, pomidorus, kokosų pieną ir kalendrą. Įmaišyti sultinį, įdėti pagal skonį pipirų ir druskos. Uzvirti, sumazinti ugnį ir pavirti kartais pamaišant apie 15 min.

Sudėti krevetes ir pavirti dar apie 3 minutes, geriau nepervirti. Nuimti nuo ugnies, įmaišyti jogurtą ir galima patiekti.


I think if shrimp wouldn't be with almost 50% discount we wouldn't buy it.. They taste good, but to pay fool price is really expensive. Anyway, we are not gourmets, and other seafood except shrimp doesn't impress and tempt us.
Before cooking this curry I was quite suspicious about those beans on a list.., but still I added them. Dish was really delicious and everything tasted great together.

Cooking time: 30 minutes.

Servings: 3-4

Products:

2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp curry powder
1 red bell pepper (cut into strips)
1 can white beans (strained)
2 tomatoes (finely chopped)
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup of stock
3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
0.5 tsp fish sauce
500 gr. shrimp
5 tbsp Natural yogurt
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying

Method:

Heat the oil in a pan. Add garlic, ginger and curry spices and saute about 4 minutes, stirring.

Add bell pepper, beans, tomatoes, coconut milk and coriander. Stir in stock, add pepper and salt to taste. Bring it to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes.

Add the shrimp and simmer for about 3 more minutes more, do not overcook. Remove from heat, mix in yogurt and delicious creamy shrimp curry can be served.
