Gobhi matar/ Žiedinis kopūstas su žirneliais/ Cauliflower with Green Peas

Pagal/ Source SanjeevKapoor

Porcijos: 3-4

Gaminimo laikas: 20 min.

Produktai:

1 nedidelio ziedinio kopūsto ziedynai
1 stiklinė zalių zirnelių
1 a.š. kumino sėklų
1 a.š. imbiero pastos
1 a.š. smulkinto česnako
2 a.š. maltos kalendros
0,5 a.š. raudonųjų čili miltelių
0,5 a.š. ciberzolės miltelių
0,5 stiklinės pomidorų pastos
1 a.š. garam masala prieskonių
0,5 a.š. dziovintų mango miltelių
Druskos pagal skonį
Aliejaus kepimui

Gaminimo procesas:

There are times when the store runs out of chicken (and I don't have patience to go to look elsewhere) so I have to cook from what I have at home and what wasn't planned.
It's not the first time when frozen peas are saving a day together with a cauliflower which I bought without a reason before.

Servings: 3-4

Cooking time: 20 minutes.

Products:

1 small cauliflower florets
1 cup green peas
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp crushed garlic
2 tsp ground coriander
0.5 tsp red chili powder
0.5 tsp turmeric powder
0,5 cup tomato paste
1 tsp garam masala
0.5 tsp dried mango powder
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method:

Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When they begin to change color, add ginger and garlic and saute for about half a minute. Add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric and saute stirring about a minute.

Add cauliflower, green peas, half cup of water, tomato paste. Add salt, stir well and cover a pan, simmer everything for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add garam masala, mango powder, stir and you can already serve.

  6. I always keep a pack of peas and a pack of mixed vegetables at home for those rare occasions when i don't want to make beef or chicken. There is so much you can make from those frozen packs...

Your gobhi matar looks superb! I never thought of adding mango powder...will add that next time.
