Almond Milk/ Migdolų Pienas

Galima sakyti, kad migdolų pieną kaip ir sviestą pradėjau naudoti draugės dėka. Pati tikriausiai nebūčiau pagalvojusi ir radusi. Migdolų pienas man taip patiko, kad per savaitę pati viena sunaudoju jo litrą. Todėl eilinį kartą atėjo mintis, kad galima tikriausiai pasidaryti jo ir namie. Pasidoro tai tikrai lengviau, nei lengva ir sveikiau nei pirkti, pirktiniame piene sudėtyje buvo druska, keli sirupai, o namie darytas pienas 100% naturalus, ką įdedi tą ir gauni. Migdolų pienas ne tik skanus, bet ir sveikas.



*Migdolų pieno nauda*

* Migdolų pienas yra magnio, kuris sveikas kaulams, šaltinis, jame yra seleno ir vitamino E. Selenas naudingas imuninei sistemai. Vitaminas E yra antioksidantas saugantis ląstelių membranas.
Migdoluose nėra cholesterolio ir sočiųjų riebalų.
*Migdoluose daug baltymų.
*Migdolų piene nėra laktozės, todėl jis tinkamas tiems, kad netoleruoja laktozės.
*Migdolų pieną galima labai nesunkiai pasigaminti namie ir laikyti šaldytuve nenaudojant jokių sintetinių priedų.

1 stiklinė migdolų
4 stiklinės filtruoto vandens

Gaminimo procesas:

Migdolus užpilti vandeniu ir pamerkti bent 8 valandoms. Galima laikyti juos vandenyje iki paros. Išmirkę migdolai matomai buna pabrinkę.

Nupilti nuo migdolų vandenį, sudėti juos į virtuvinį kombainą, užpilti 4 stiklinėmis vandens ir plakti kol vanduo ims atrodyti kaip pienas. Tada nukošti viska kelis kartus per sietelį. Pieną galima laikyti šaldytuve iki savaitės.


Almond milk and butter as I started using after my friend told me that they are great things. Most likely I would not have thought of them myself if I didn't find them accidentally. Almond milk I liked so much that I am using at least 1 liter in a week just by myself. So, once again, I got the idea that such thing can be made at home. And it was surprisingly easy, cheaper and healthier than buying, in the milk that I was buying was added salt, several syrups. Homemade milk is 100% natural and you know what you are adding so you know what you get. Almond milk is not just delicious but also healthy.

* Almond milk is a source of magnesium, which is good for bones, it has selenium and vitamin E. Selenium is good for the immune system. Vitamin E is an antioxidant, protecting cell membranes.
* There are no no cholesterol and saturated fats in almonds.
* Almonds are rich in protein.
* Almond milk is lactose free, so it is suitable for those that can not tolerate lactose.
* Almond milk is very easy to make at home and can be stored in the fridge without any synthetic additives.
* According to research simple almond milk has less calories than skim milk, fat free milk. So it is good for those who are on diet or just want to eat healthier.

Yield: 1 liter

Products:

1 cup raw almonds
4 cups filtered water

Method:

Soak almonds in a water for at least 8 hours. You can soak them even one day. The soaked almonds should be visibly bigger in size.

Drain almonds and place them into the blender together with four glasses of water and blend until the water starts to look like milk. Then filter it few times through the sieve. Milk can be stored in the refrigerator up to one week.

  1. O migdolų nelupate? Juk nuo odelės lieka toks kartėsis ir spalva nelabai balta. Ar perkate jau nuluptus migdolus?

  2. Aš dariau iš migdolų su odelėmis. Skonis nesikeičia, be to skaičiau, kad odelėse yra naudingų medžiagų. Spalva balta, nes kelis kartus perkosus odeles nusikosia. Jei nepatinka galima ir nuimti jas.

  6. I use almond milk all the time, in smoothies, in cooking, or just to drink plain. But it is expensive, so it is a great idea to make your own.

  8. Lizzy, it tastes different than cow's milk :) Somehow I really liked, I dont use it for tea and coffee, but everywhere else I like almond milk better :)
