Mughlai Chicken/ Mughlai vištiena

Marinavimui:

800 gr. vištienos file (pjaustytos norimo dydžio gabaliukais)
1 a.s. raudonųjų čili miltelių
1 a.s. druskos
1 v.s. citrinos sulčių

Prieskoniai:
0.4 a.š. maltų gvazdikėlių
0.5 a.š. cinamono
0.4 a.š. malto kardamono
2 a.š. raudonųjų čili miltelių
1 a.š. malto kumino

1 svogūnas (smulkiai pjaustytas)
1 a.š. smulkinto česnako
1 a.š. tarkuoto imbiero
Druskos pagal skonį
Aliejaus kepimui
3 stiklinės karšto vandens
šafrano
1 a.š. citrinos sulčių

Gaminimo procesas:

Visus marinavimui skirtus produktus sumaišyti ir palikti pasimarinuoti bent 30 min.

Šafraną pamerkti citrinos sultyse. As nedėjau, kadangi neturėjau.

Įkaitinti puode aliejų, sudėti svogūną ir pakepinti kol bus apkepęs iki auksiniai rusvos spalvos. Sudėti česnaką ir imbierą, pakepinti dar apie minutę. Sudėti visus prieskonius, išmaišyti ir ant vidutinės ugnies pakepinti kol pradės atsiskirti aliejus.

Sudėti marinuotą vištieną, gerai išmaišyti, supilti vandenį ir ant nedidelės ugnies viską pavirti kol vištiena bus išvirusi ir padažas patirštės. Sudėti šafraną ir pavirti dar apie 5 minutes.

Products:
For marinating:

800 gr. chicken fillet (cut into desired size pieces)
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 tbsplemon juice

For spice mix:
0.4 tsp cloves powder
0.5 tsp cinnamon powder
0.4 tsp cardamom powder
2 tsps red chili powder
1 tsp cumin powder

1 onion (chopped​​)
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp ginger paste
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
3 glasses of hot water
Saffron
1 tsp lemon juice

Method:

Mix all products for marinating and leave in a fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Soak saffron in lemon juice. I didnt add it cause I simply didnt have it.

Heat the oil in a pan, add onion and fry it until it becomes golden in color. Add garlic and ginger, fry for another minute. Add all the spices, fry over medium heat until the oil starts to separate.

Add marinated chicken, mix everything well, add water and simmer on low heat until chicken is cooked and sauce thickens. Add the saffron and simmer for about 5 minutes more.

  10. Kankana, I had it before just in restaurant, this was different, in restaurant most chicken dishes taste the same no matter which you order.. :)

  12. Thoma, I know who would bother in a restaurant to cook decently every dish how it is supposed to be :D mostly they dont do that
    Sadly I didnt have time after work to make rotis at home, so just had it with some flat bread from the shop :D
