Sluoksniuotos Tešlos Spiralės/ Puff Pastry Twists

Labai sunki užduotis einant į svečius pas kažką kas nemėgsta saldumynų einant į svečius kažką nusinešti desertui. Perverčiau visus turimus receptus, peržiūrėjau visus turimus produktus ir buvau tiesiog nevilty kai prisiminiau, kad buvau išsisaugojusi sluoksniuotos tešlos lazdelių receptą. Produktų visų namie turėjau, tikrai nėra labai saldu ir puikiai tinka neštis į svečius!



Produktai:

2 sluoksniuotos tešlos lakštai
4 v.š. tirpinto nesudyto sviesto
0,5 stiklinės rudojo cukraus
2 a.š. tarkuotos citrinos žievelės
2 a.š. malto cinamono

Gaminimo procesas:

Orkaitę įkaitinti iki 200C. Pusę cukraus sumaišyti su citrinos žievele, kitą pusę sumaišyti su cinamonu.

Atšildytą sluoksniuotos tešlos lakštą padęti ant miltuoto paviršiaus, pabarstyti miltais ir kočioti kol lakštas praplatės keliais centimetrais. Aštriu peiliu supjausti lakštą plonomis juostelėmis.

Abi kiekvienos juostelės puses patepti tirpintu sviestu, tada abi puses padengti citrininiu arba cinamoniniu cukrumi, susukti ir padėti ant kepimo popieriumi išklotos skardos.

Juosteles kepti kol taps auksinės spalvos ( apie 12-15 min).


It is a very difficult task to think of what to bring for dessert when you are going to have dinner with somebody who doesn't like sweets. I checked all my recipes, looked on all shelves what products have I got and I was already in despair..when I remembered that I had saved a recipe for these puff pastry sticks recipe. I had all the products at home, and it is not very sweet, so it was a perfect thing to take!

Products:

2 sheets puff pastry, defrosted
4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
0.5 cup brown sugar
2 tsp grated lemon zest
2 tsp ground cinnamon

Method:

Preheat the oven to 200C. Mix half of the sugar with lemon zest and half with cinnamon.

Place puff pastry sheet on lightly floured surface and roll until the sheet becomes few centimeters bigger. Cut it into thin strips with a sharp knife.

Brush both sides of each strip with melted butter, then cover both sides with lemon sugar or cinnamon sugar, twist them and put on baking paper-lined tray.

Bake until the strips are golden brown (about 12-15 minutes).

  3. Dariau panašiai per Naujus metus, tik įdaras buvo sūris, jelapenas ir kiti pikantiški aštrumai :) 2kg kiekio neliko per 20 minučių :D

  7. I don't think I've ever met anyone who doesn't like sweets! What a dilemma but I think you handled it spectacularly with those twists. They look yummy!

  10. I've made similar things with Parmesan cheese as appetizer with prosciutto, but I think I like this idea better as I have a sweet tooth! Looks yum!
