Lipnus Meduolinis Pyragas/ Sticky Gingerbread Loaf

Pagal/ Source BakingBar

Iki Kalėdų liko 3 mėnesiai. Atrodo šie metai visai neseniai prasidėjo, o jau iki pabaigos likę ne tiek ir daug. Kalėdiniams pasiruošimams šiek tiek anksti, nors kai kurios parduotuvės jau pardavinėja Kalėdinius papuošimus. Meduoliams aišku niekad nebūna peranksti. Ypač kai meduolinis pyragas taip paprastai pagaminamas.

Produktai:

200 gr. cukraus
180 gr. sviesto
250 ml pieno
4 v.š. auksinio sirupo (aš naudojau medų)
1 v.š. imbiero miltelių
1 a.š. cinamono
1 a.š. kepimo sodos
260 gr. miltų

Glaistui:
150 gr. cukraus pudros
2 v.š. karšto vandens
1 v.š. auksinio sirupo

Gaminimo procesas:

Įkaitinti orkaitę iki 160C. Ištepti formą riebalais.

Nedideliame puode sudėti sviestą, pieną, cukrų ir auksinį sirupą ir užvirti. Nuimti nuo ugnies ir palikti pravėsti.

Dubenyje persijoti miltus, imbierą, cinamoną ir sodą. Viduryje padaryti duobutę ir į sausus produktus nuolat maišant pilti sviesto mišinį kol viskas susimaišys.

Kepti 1 valandą arba kol patikrinus mediniu krapštuku jis nebeaplips tešla. Palikti 10 minučių formoje, tuomet išimti ir pabaigti vėsinti ant grotelių.

Kol pyragas vėsta visus glaistui skirtus produktus sumaišyti kartu. Paskleisti ant pyrago viršaus kol pyragas vis dar šiltas. Pilnai atvėsusį pyragą laikyti gerai uždaromame plastikiniame inde.

Only 3 months left until Christmas. It seems that this year has just began and it is already close to the end. I think it is a bit early for Christmas preparations, but there are some stores that are already selling Christmas decorations. Of course it is never too early for gingerbreadEspecially when gingerbread is so easy to prepare.

Products:

200 gr. sugar
180 gr. butter
250 ml milk
4 tbsp golden syrup (I used honey)
1 tbsp ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
260 gr. flour

For the Glaze:

150 gr. icing sugar
2 tbsp hot water
1 tbsp golden syrup

Method: Preheat the oven to 160C. Grease baking form.

In a small pan place butter, milk, sugar and golden syrup and bring it to the boil. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.

In a bowl, sift the flour, ginger, cinnamon and soda. Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and pour the butter mixture mixing continuously until it is smooth.

Bake for 1 hour or until a wooden skewer inserted comes out clean. Leave for 10 minutes in the form, then remove and finish cooling on the wire rack.

While the cake is cooling mix all the ingredients for the glaze until smooth. Spread evenly on top of the cake while the cake is still warm. Cool completely and keep in a plastic airtight container.
