Migdolinis Vyšnių Pyragas/ Almond Cherry Cake

Pagal/ Source ReneesKitchenAdventures

Produktai:

6 v.š. (85 gr.) sviesto, kambario temperatūros
1,5 stiklinės miltų
1,5 a.š. kepimo miltelių
0,5 a.š. druskos
1 stiklinė cukraus
1 didelis kiaušinis, kambario temperatūros
0.75 stiklinės rūgpienio
1 a.š. migdolų ekstrakto
2 stiklinės šaldytų vyšnių be kauliukų, atitirpdytų
0,25 stiklinės migdolų plokštelių
1-2 v.š. tamsaus rudojo cukraus
Cukraus pudros pabarstymui

Gaminimo procesas:

So, I have not prepared any recipes for Valentine's Day, I would say it's quite typical for me. Well, but I can recommend this almond cherry cake. Because I love cherries, they are the most delicious berries. Also it turns out that they taste great with almonds (which is also like a lot). The cake was really successful, because after I took it to the friend's place she asked for the recipe at once.

Products:

6 tbsp (85 gr.) butter, at room temperature
1.5 cup flour
1.5 tsp baking powder
0.5 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1 large egg, at room temperature
0.75 cups sour milk
1 tsp almond extract
2 cups frozen pitted cherries, thawed
0.25 cup almond slices
1-2 tbsp dark brown sugar
Icing sugar for dusting

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease 22 cm baking form.

With an electric mixer beat the butter and sugar until fluffy and light(about 3-5 minutes). Beat in the egg, buttermilk and almond extract, beat with an electric mixer until smooth.

Sift in the flour, baking powder and salt into the wet products, beat until smooth. Transfer the dough into the prepared baking form, level the top, spread the cherries on top and press down slightly.

Sprinkle almonds on top then evenly sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake for about 50-55 minutes or until the cake is golden brown. Leave for 10 minutes in the form, then finish cooling on the wire rack. Before serving dust with icing sugar.
