Apple Halwa/ Obuolių chalva

Pagal AayisRecipes

Pasiilgau obuolių pyrago, bet kadangi galimybės išsikepti vis dar neturiu vietoje jo pasidariau obuolių chalvos.

Porcijos: 10 gabaliukų

Gaminimo laikas:
apie 40 min.

Produktai:

2 stiklinės nuluptų tarkuotų obuolių (3-4 obuoliai)
4 v.š. medaus
0,5 a.š. cinamono
0,4 a.š. maltų gvazdikėlių

Gaminimo procesas:

I missed apple pie, but since I still don't have possibility to bake it instead I made apple halva.

Servings: 10 pieces

Cooking time: about 40 minutes.

Products:

2 cups grated peeled apples (3-4 apples)
4 tablespoons honey (usually is used more 0,5- 1 cup)
0.5 tsp cinnamon
0.4 tsp ground cloves

Method:

In a skillet or a heavy bottomed pan on a medium heat fry the grated apples, until the liquid is evaporated (about 10 min.)

Then add the honey. In the original recipe was used 1 cup of sugar, but it seemed too much for me so I changed it to 4 tablespoons honey. Fry it stirring occasionally until the mass gets thicker.

When the mass is thicker mix continuously, cause it can start burning. When the apple mixture will look dry, add spices and stir well. Transfer the mixture into the greased plate. When it cools, cut halva into desired shape and size pieces.
