Egg Biryani/ Ryžiai su virtais kiaušiniais

Pagal/ Source AayisRecipes

Ši savaitė dar labiau užimta nei praėjusi. Darbo reikalais teks dar praleisti beveik visą šeštadienį dirbant. Pradedu labai pasiilgti savo virtuvės ir to laiko, kai galėdavau ten leisti valandas.

Porcijos: 3

Gaminimo laikas: 45 min.

Produktai:

1 stiklinė basmati ryzių
3 kiaušiniai
2 v.š. smulkintų kalendros lapų
1 nedidelis svogūnas (smulkiai pjaustytas)
200 gr. pomidorų pastos
2 zalieji čili
1 a.š. imbiero pastos
1 a.š. smulkinto česnako
1 a.š. garam masala
Aliejaus kepimui
Druskos pagal skonį

Gaminimo procesas:

Išvirti kiaušinius.

Ryzius nuplauti kelis kartus šiltu vandeniu, uzpilti 1,5 stiklinės vandens, sudėti gvazdikėlius, kardamoną, druską. Virti kol vanduo susigers ir ryziai bus išvirę.

Kol ryziai verda įkaitinti aliejų puode, sudėti svogūnus ir apkepti kelias minutes. Tada sudėti česnakus, imbierą, kalendros lapus, pomidorų pastą, zaliuosius čili ir druską (nepersūdyti, nes verdant ryzius jau buvo dėta druskos). pakepti viską apie 3 minutes.

Kiaušinius palaikyti šaltame vandenyje kelias minutes, nulupti ir supjaustyti gabaliukais. Sudėti pjaustytus kiaušinius į svogūnų pomidorų masę. Įdėti garam masalą ir atsargiai išmaišyti.

Ant svogūnų-pomidorų-kiaušinių masės viršaus sudėti išvirusius ryzius, uzdengti dangtį ir ant nedidelės ugnies pavirti viską apie 15-20 min.

Išjungus viską dar palaikyti ant viryklės neatidengiant apie 10 min. Prieš patiekiant viską atsargiai išmaišyti.

This week is even more busy than the last. Besides I will have to spend almost whole Saturday working. I started missing those time when I could cook and spend hours in the kitchen.
This dish, that I cooked today for dinner surprised me in a good way. I did not expect anything special, but the dish tasted and smelled really nice. Rice with egg is a good combination, it is a fact.

Servings: 3

Cooking time: 45 minutes.

Products:

1 cup Basmati rice
3 eggs
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 small onion (finely sliced)
200 gr. tomato paste
2 green chillies
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp garam masala
Oil for frying
Salt to taste

Method :

Boil the eggs.

Wash rice few times with warm water, place them in a pan together with 1.5 glass of water, add cloves, cardamom, salt. Cook until water is absorbed and rice is ready.

While the rice is cooking , heat the oil in a pan, add onions and fry them for a few minutes. Then add the garlic, ginger, coriander leaves, tomato paste, chopped green chillies and salt (dont put too much salt, cause it was already added to the rice). Fry everything for about 3 minutes.

Place the eggs in cold water for several minutes, then peel and cut into pieces. Add egg pieces to the onion-tomato mixture. Mix everything, then add garam masala and mix everything carefully.

On top of the onion-tomato-egg mixture place cooked rice, cover the lid and cook it on a low flame for about 15-20 minutes.
Then turn it off and leave the pan covered for 10 minutes. Before serving mix both layers well but carefully.
